special prom

I told and showed my mom about how I wanted to be asked out for prom ,you know, those special prom asking where teh guy serenates you,or shows you  a big poster, or how maybe he could be holding  ballons or at least a flower,..My mom gave me the saddest  answer a girl with dreams and hope could get ''Wouldt it be gay from him to do that? I mean any guy that those that like been all showy and sparkles, and sparkles are girlish, girlsish is gayish''...THanks mom...Thanks alot...
